The Great Kapok Tree

Save the rain forest! If a tree falls in the forest…someone or something will always be there to hear it and feel the effects. So when a man is sent into the Amazon rain forest to chop down the great kapok tree many eyes watch nervously. One by one each creature of the rainforest pleads with the man to save their home and he ends up leaving without harming the tree. The book has watercolor and color pencil illustrations, including a map of the tropical rain forests of the world.
