The Right Touch

Although by no means a new phenomenon, the idea of addressing the topic with children through a book is recent enough that it has taken us some time to find one that we are really happy with. Jody Bergsma's illustrations are so endearing that even though the subject matter is difficult, the book is beautiful. Written by both a good writer as well as a clinical social worker who has worked with families for 20 years, I found a feeling of tremendous relief reading this book knowing that I had found the perfect book for introducing child sexual abuse to young children. 32 pages.
