Heirlooms from the founders for Rosie Hippo’s Toys For Rosie’s 15^th Birthday!

For Rosie’s 15^th Birthday Papa Hippo (also known as Dave) went out into his workshop and came back with some vintage Rosie Hippo Vehicles that were made back in the days when Fernball was Rosie’s favorite wooden toy maker. 

These are solid hardwood sanded smooth and rubbed by hand with natural linseed oil.  The airplane has front prop that turns and wheels that turn on the bottom so it can glide along the floor.  The bucket on front end loader raises way above the drivers head and swivels so the load can be dumped out.  The tow truck has a hand made wooden hook that is made to poke under a ‘broken down’ vehicle and tow it back to ‘the station’.  Both the truck and the loader have tow hitches on the back that other vehicles can be hooked or tied on to.
