Harvest Time

This cooperative board game is a favorite of pre-schoolers. The object is to harvest the gardens before the frost comes. Puzzle pieces fill the center changing the season as you play. Color coded die and pieces make this a good game for non-readers. 3+

Note from Kim: I gave this game to Ethan (3 years old) the day before Thanksgiving. I thought it would be a good way to talk about the change of seasons, harvesting crops, and essence of the Thanksgiving celebration. The first time he opened the box we played the game 10 times in a row! "Let's try it again!", he kept saying. And he couldn't wait for Daddy to get home so he could explain "you plant your garden and harvest the vegetables before it snows!" The goal is to harvest all the players vegetables before the frost. Ethan loved asking us "May I help you with your garden?" Great family fun for all seasons!
